Over 90 antique and contemporary quilts are in this judged exhibit. Special weekly quilt exhibits in the lobby mean there is always something new on view. This year's judged quilt challenge is "Old Into New.'' Come enjoy this ongoing

Visitors to this popular exhibit are able to vote for the covetted Viewers Choice awards.  Also on display are winners chosen by hand-picked judges who are experts in the field.

"Soft Covers for Hard Times:  Depression Era Quilts in Tennessee"

Following this lecture members of the audience may present up to two quilts for documentation, and find out from noted Knoxville quilt expert and author, Merikay Waldvogel, about the history and date of their quilts.  Any time period of quilt is acceptable, not just Depresseion era.

Admission to the museum is $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for students
