The GuestLine Tennessee "Don't Go Anywhere..." Vacation
Package Give Away winner is Marlies Hayes! She is the happy winner
of the custom-designed historic Polk County afghan pictured below.
The GiveAway was at the Hospitality Fair - April 13-14, at the
Museum Center at 5ive Points. It was a Chamber of Commerce sponsored
event developed to educate locals coming in contact with visitors
and tourists - all there is to do in our area. And - to show
us locals where to go and what to do 'round here to have fun!

Marlies Hayes: "I was looking at the beautiful quilt when
I was at the exhibit, I can't believe I won it!"
The beautiful custom designed throw pictured on the right was
donated by Stamper’s
Furniture Store as part of the Great
GuestLine Giveaway. These Tennessee-original afghans are available
for sale to the public in two designs. The Polk blanket portrays
picturesque images surrounding a lovely view of the Cherokee
National Forest as its centerpiece including the L & N Railroad
Loop, the Ocoee River Flume and Powerhouse, as well as Burra
Burra Mine and the Ocoee Whitewater Center. The Bradley County
cover displays area historic points of interest and beauty including
the original historic Courthouse, the downtown Monument, the
Craigmiles home (old library) and the Southern RailRoad Depot.

A Rafting Trip for 2 down Ocoee - donated by Adventures
Unlimited (link here to AU) was another of the prizes.
"As I was touring the exhibits at the Hospitality Fair,
my friends from the Hampton Inn talked me into going rafting.
I always thought I would be too afraid, but they told me the
Lower Ocoee is a much easier ride - so I promised them I would
try it this summer. And now I've won a trip!"
