Witness America’s past brought to life with
the Great Civil War Exposition,
a fun-filled evening of history and entertainment.
Civil War historian, Steve Gipson, provides a fast-paced,
often humorous, portrayal of one southern family’s difficult circumstances during the War Between the States.
Gipson, a nationally recognized personality,
enlists Chattanoogan, Mike Pleasant as his brother, as they bring to life anecdotes, entertaining narratives, and long forgotten trivia.
You will leave with new perspectives of causes, consequences, and the historic events that shaped present day America.
The Great Civil War Exposition exhibits a beautifully decorated set which has been hailed by the Smithsonian Institute – and contains accurate reproductions and thousands of dollars in relics.
Local Performances for Area 5th & 8th Grades: 8:30, 10:30, 12:30
