Cleveland Apple Festival APPLE DESSERT CONTEST Winners

JJ Narus of Cleveland - Grand Prize Winner - Says the secret to his ~ winning Coalesce Apple Pie combination is DIFFERENT KINDS OF APPLES!!! ~ All of which, by the way, are available at APPLE VALLEY ORCHARD - SPONSOR OF THE ANNUAL CLEVELAND APPLE FESTIVAL. He used all of these in the Winning Dessert: Winesaps, Fujis, Galas, Goldens, and even a little Mango... for good luck.

Crystal Adkins of Chattanooga - 2nd Runner Up - her Miabella Soy Candles were on exhibit for the Festival - won her award for Apple Dumplins.

Cara Peace of Cleveland - 3rd Runner Up - she received her award for her Apple Pecan Turnover.

Peter Spinks of Café Roma - on MainStreet Courthouse Square in Cleveland - 1st runner up - Cleveland is lucky enough to be able to enjoy Peter’s creations at Café Roma, where he is proud to be the Sous Chef! He won first runner up for his CARMELIZED APPLE-ONION CREPES.

Entertainment for 2004 Festival included:

The Family Brothers - The Possum Hunters - The Cumberland Mission Band - Elijah James & Friends - The Mowery's - The String Mountain Band

Hay Play in the "HAY PARTY" was GUESTLINE'S SOUVENIR PHOTO exhibit at the Festival. Designer of the beautiful seasonal display is: Rhon Logan of RHON'S DISTINCTIVE FLORAL DESIGNS.

Rhon’s grand opening was this summer - and his weddings, parties, grand openings as well as floral deliveries are growing more popular by the week.
