Saturday, July 28, 10:30 a.m. Civil War Fashion Show.
Members of the Tellico Iron Works 2636 Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy will present a fashion show of clothing of the Civil War era. Refreshments will follow. $5 for non-museum members, $3 for museum members.
Sat, August 11, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Civil War Encampment. Reenactors from the 37th Tennessee Infantry, Company H,
the Tellico Iron Works 2636 Chapter of the United
Daughters of the Confederacy, and special guests
General Nathan Bedford Forrest
and Lieutenant General James Longstreet
create a Civil War soldier’s camp on the Museum Center’s back lawn. Come meet the soldiers, learn about their uniforms
and equipment, watch drilling, musket firing,
and see a Civil War era cavalry horse and soldier.
Period-correct games for children will be offered.
Free with regular admission to the Museum,
which includes viewing the exhibition.
$5.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors/students,
free for children under 5.

Old Buttonwillow Church in Whitwell, Tennessee
including dinner and transportation to
The Great Civil War Exposition Theatre’s production
of “Granddaddy’s Watch”.
