Bailey David was crowned
2007 Fairest of the Fair Queen,
Saturday, May 12th.
Bailey David, age 18, 2007 Fairest of the Fair Queen,
has been participating in the Foothills Country Fair since the first one in 2004.
She and her horse, Thunder, competed in the first
Foothills / 4-H Bradley County horse show. In 2005, she and
Sunny’s Misty Diamond, won big, and in 2006 they took first place in
horsemanship and showmanship and were Reserve High Point overall.
This year Bailey helped 4-H agent Larry Mitchell with the event, assisting 4-H participants in any way needed, from grooming their horses and getting themselves - show-ready, to entering the show ring.
Bailey's favorites: "meeting new people, the entertainment, the animal exhibits and..." (surprise, surprise) "... the horse show!"
Junior Fairest of the Fair 2007 is Madyson Foster a sophomore
at Cleveland High School, is a Raider Scholar.
She is a member of the senior ballet company Mirabilia
at Mountain Laurel Dance Studio. She will train with Joffrey Ballet this summer,
as well as Orlando Ballet. She was awarded the Kitty Sharp Merit
Scholarship Award for her summer dance endeavors.
She is the daughter of April and DJ Foster.

Little Miss 2007, Rhiannon Fuller, 4th grader at North Lee Elementary,
took the trophy at this year's Fairest of the Fair pageant.
She is the daughter of Roger & Erin Fuller of Cleveland.
Her great-grandmother, Eula Jones was there to cheer her on.
Judges Choice Award went to Haylee Rodgers,
a 7 year old from Athens, Tennessee. Her parents are Kurt & Lisa Rodgers.
Haylee hopes to one day be a nurse at the Shriner’s Hospital.
Wee Miss Foothills 07 is Lauryn Lawson. She is the daughter
of Nick & Tessa Lawson, and is a Black Fox Elementary School student.
Ashley Cunningham is The 2007 Fair Princess. She is the daughter of
Greg & Valerie Cunningham, and a 5th grader at Black Fox Elementary.
Tiffany Wilkerson, 2006 Fairest of the Fair Queen,
Tiffany’s Fair Favorites from the 2006 Fair were
“the Lumberjack Log Runs, and THE FOOD!”
Her Pageant Favorite is “getting to know the other girls.”

Holly Jacobsen, age 14,
can be found more places than just on stage at the Foothills Country Fair
each year. Her family sponsors the local talent stage:
CLEVELAND ALUMINUM. She and her brother Tyler can be found with Cleveland Aluminum owners, Gena and Don Jacobsen, busily arranging acts, setting up equipment, and showing lots of hospitality for the talented folks who perform on the popular stage. Holly’s favorite part of the Fairest of the Fair pageant was “getting to dress up and have my hair done.”
Her favorite part of the Fair was “rides & food!”
