Dr. Christopher W. Chase is a native of Cleveland, TN. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of TN in Knoxville, graduating with high honors. He then earned his M.D. degree at James H. Quillen College of Medicine, East TN State University, in Johnson City, TN. There Dr. Chase was president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, a member of the Admissions Committee, and graduated Salutatorian of his class.
He then completed training in General Surgery at Erlanger Medical Center, Chattanooga, TN, during which time he participated in clinical research. His research studies have been published in medical journals, such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Surgeon and the Journal of Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Chase continued on to complete training in Plastic Surgery at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC. As Chief Resident he oversaw the training of other residents and was in charge of the cosmetic clinic.
Dr. Chase is skilled in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery and has particular interest in breast surgery, facial rejuvenation and body contouring. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Tennessee Medical Association.
He and his wife, Debbie, are the proud parents of twin girls. They enjoy gardening, remodeling, art and outdoor activities.
