Just a little over an hour from Chattanooga - and a gorgeous scenic drive up the "Olympic Ocoee River gorge", Blanche Manor is a 350 acre mountain escape that becomes your playground.
Your trail ride will take you through a shady forest trail - in summer you will enjoy our famous mountain laurel in bloom ... or relax as your horse drinks from a cool mountain stream that cascades into a hundred little waterfalls.... Fall and Winter are beautiful times to trail ride through the mountains when the leaves are stunning colors, then gone, providing you with panoramic vistas of the mountains of Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.
Or maybe you'd prefer a horse-drawn hayride through
a working apple orchard followed by
a homemade dinner around the campfire.
You might be lucky enough to enjoy some of our friendly wildlife,
like white-tailed deer, turkey, boar and bear,
red fox, coyotes, and bobcats.
Our friendly professional guides will prepare you with safety instruction before your ride begins ~ and are CPR and first aid certified.

Horse Drawn Hayrides:
A 30 minute wagon ride through a working apple orchard is followed by a fireside dinner where local musicians bring a taste of the mountains and our local culture to your family. The dinner at the campfire consists of homemade chili, cornbread, soda, water, and homemade dessert, as well as hot dogs and marshmallows for roasting. After dinner, you can end the evening with a game of horseshoes. The entire evening usually lasts about 1 1/2 hours and is held an hour before nightfall yearlong.
This activity is great for family with members who cannot ride horses, or large groups who want to enjoy a campfire dinner with entertainment. We need a minimum of 8 people to have a hay ride, but can always try to combine smaller families together to reach the required minimum number. Please be sure to ask for directions to the hay ride when booking, as the hay ride is at Mountain View Apple Orchard near Blanche Manor. |

From Atlanta Area:Take I-75 North to I-575 North. I-575 turns into 515 North around Canton. Continue North on 515 into Blue Ridge, GA. Then turn left onto Highway 5 North at the McDonalds in Blue Ridge. Go 10.2 miles. Turn left at first stoplight, Tennessee Avenue. Go 3.2 miles (this turns into Mobile road). Turn right on Bethel Church Road, go 0.4 miles. Turn left onto Mount Harmony Church Road, go 1 mile. Turn right onto Deal Hollow. Go 0.2 miles. Turn left at Blanche 181 mailbox and follow signs to barn.
From Chattanooga, TN
From Chattanooga, I-75 north to Exit 20. turn rt. take Ocoee exit to Hwy 64. Travel appx 25 min (beautiful drive next to Ocoee River).
From the intersection of Hwy 64 and Hwy 68 in Ducktown head south on Highway 68 for 2 miles. Turn right onto Grassey Creek Road and travel 1 mile to Deal Road. Go 1 mile and turn right onto Mount Harmony Road. Go 1 more mile and turn right onto Deal Hollow Road. Turn left at Blanche 181 mailbox and follow signs to barn.
