It is amazing what years do for some people. Take an ugly duckling and make her into a swan that is what I've been told. Right after High School, I did not let mom call the shots with me any longer how to dress, hair etc. Thank goodness I did that, Met my to be husband at age 18 and got married at 21. And the older I get the prettier I get so people say. I just see me in the mirror. And that is what my mom always says, all her girls with maturity just get prettier, and with the entire female population of my family its true. I have been successful in life. It is going to be tight financially for a while because of my move from Charleston, SC to Tuscaloosa, AL to take care of mom but GOD lead me here and I have tremendous faith in what HE directs me to do in life. This was the right thing for me to do. With a mother that is 87 and would do anything for me and already has, time to give back to her. But still looking for that wonderful man to share the rest of my life with, haven't found him yet. If my sister does come in the weekend of the reunion I will try and attend, but mom needs me to be with her in rehab for now and big time when she goes home. If I had one wish, it would be to reunite with my childhood sweetheart.
